Listen on:
What does it mean to feel at home? And after losing home, how can organizations seek to recreate a space that not only provides safety, but a place to unwind, grow and connect. In this episode we reflect on the BCSTH Women-Centred Housing Design Toolkit and speak with the team at Tamitik Status of Women, a BCSTH member organization, that was featured in the Knowledge to Action Report. We speak with them about their new housing facility, what they appreciate about this space, their advice for other organizations on new builds, and their day care facility, which they hope to run 24/7.
