Tourism Traps

For many, summertime signals vacation time – and what better place to go on vacation then Beautiful British Columbia. When we sell ourselves as a tourist destination, what do we leave out? And who is at risk when societal issues are swept under the rug? In episode 4, we explore what it’s like to work in the GBV sector in two of the province’s most sought-after tourist destinations, Whistler and Tofino, with Laurie Hannah, Housing manager at Sage Haven Society.
